My Message To Michael Jackson

Hey, Michael. Just like your billions of fans out there, I want to wish you a very happy 52nd birthday. Even though I’ve been a fan for only a year, I’m glad I got to learn about such a wonderful person. :)

I wish I could’ve become a fan sooner, though. It saddens me sometimes to realize it took me nearly 18 years to really get to know you. Up until last year, I didn't know you as "Michael Jackson, the Great Humanitarian" or "Michael Jackson, the King of Pop". To me, “Michael Jackson” was just another name…

However, when I heard about your sudden passing, it really upset me. As a matter of fact, it had such an effect on me, I felt compelled to learn as much as I could about you.

I read everything I could get my hands on and was in complete awe! I couldn’t believe I didn’t know about Thriller, the millions of dollars you donated to charity, and your many other accomplishments. I kept asking myself, “How could I have been so oblivious all these years?!”

Still, while I wasn’t there for you at the beginning, I’ll continue to love and support you til the end and beyond. Much love to you. ❤
